Lancom is the exclusive Internet provider of Agora Modiano
Lancom, in cooperation with the Fais Group, implemented the project of installation, operation, and maintenance of Agora Modiano’s network infrastructure in the context of the revival of this landmark of the city. The goal is to provide top-quality services to visitors of the historical and gastronomic reference point, offering uninterrupted connectivity and high-speed Internet.
Lancom provides the Agora Modiano with a leased Internet circuit with 1Gbps Download/1Gbps Upload via optical fiber and microwave backup. The company also undertook the deployment of an internal WiFi network by installing 26 access points at various locations in the premises to meet the Internet connectivity needs of all building areas.
The project was part of the restoration and reopening of Agora Modiano, Thessaloniki’s central food market. It is the first of its kind that follows the standards of its foreign counterparts. It has been modernized and reopened its doors to provide its visitors with top-quality services and fine food in an environment of high aesthetic and historical importance.
